Young brains and reversals

Pete,

How can we distinguish between youth vs reversal?

I have a new client, 8 Y.O. with definite reversals, some depression symptoms, but mainly ADHD: Processing and Filtering. Add to that a verbal IQ of 168 (aver. 134).

I believe you have said the brain matures right to left and back to front. Do I have that right? Would the IQ indicate more mature development?
