Guest guest
Oooopppps, Forgot to tell you one of the best things. Since starting the new way of eating, it has been 2 weeks and my daughter has not been to the ER, and has not had to take one " Zofran. " (those 2 things are miracles for her) That lets me know that we have finally gotten started on the right track.
Guest guest
Hannafords has a section just with organic foods. That is where I buy my frozen veggis. Janet

Including your husband, you know that guinea pig. (grin) I'll have to remember this one and be more careful. But this is great news and may help many. Guest guest
Thanx KC, yes it is great news, and I do hope that it helps others. Many here know how resistant I am to trying things. But, this is one that I will NEVER be sorry I listened and tried it. I hope others will do it also. It is more expensive, but the results are well worth it. We do not have the extra money as many here do not, but we have once again given up things to make it happen, and glad we did. [] Re:the best thing > , > > This is great news , congrats... Guest guest
KC, I would like to add something, to the change in diet, something I thought and made me resistant to trying it. I figured it would be boring and we would have give up everything that we like. So, I took a trip to Whole Foods. But we have not. We also have an Asian market close by also. This week we had pasta (gluten, yeast free-organic) with organic sauce, no fillers no additives, it was delicious. The kids after I figured out what to do, got to start taking flat bread rollups to school, with gluten yeast free flat bread, they got to have ice cream sandwiches, gluten, yeast, dairy, sugar free (very good too) If you like it, you can find it, just have to learn to read ingredients. The hardest thing to find are the fresh veggies, like green beans, zucchini, and so forth. It's even hard to find it frozen, but I finally did. I asked Meijers the other day, and they said they will order the fresh green beans for me, along with some other things. So that was nice. Much cheaper too. I guess what I am trying to say is, don't worry about having to give anything up, you can find just anything you like if you try. I can't guarantee what it will taste like though, but I can tell you, everything we have tried taste better than what we used to eat. So, atleast go and look. Give it a try. Your body will thank you. Guest guest
It's hard to find " organic " fresh or frozen. I did last week just happen into " Whole Foods " when they were just unloading frozen organic and bought a couple. Now, I am waiting for Meijers to find the fresh organic, then I will buy a couple cases, blanch them, and seal them and freeze them myself. They should have everything I asked for by next week. Prices are much more reasonable than a health food store or even regular grocery store that supplies organics. I know many of us cannot afford mostly organic so it does help to look around. Lol found recently our 99cents stores are carrying organic products and when I find some I stock up big time. Great idea to buy in bulk and freeze yourself. I do that often also; especially at my organic farmer's markets when they have a sale. It's more work but will save you money. Rosie
Guest guest
Rosie, please send me list also of top 12. I can't find everything organic and some things just look so good when they are in season. > > > Hi and all: > I'll send you a list of the top 12 produce that are > highest in pesticides which we must avoid (or should avoid if possible and I > refuse to purchase them unless organic or just do without) and those that > really don't need to be organic. >
