Katrina. I read an article in the Diabetes Management Journal about the use of

biofeedback and how one session lower blood-glucose levels for 4 hours following

a session. I tried the pRoshi and tested my glucose level every hour after I

used it and the pRoshi with a 45 minute session creates the same effect. So I

have started using it more frequently again. I was down to several times a week

but now I am back to twice a day. I have reduced my insulin levels from 500 iu

a day to 125 iu a day and have reduced my glucose levels to near-normal levels

and without brittle cycling since I have begun this disciplined regimen.

back when I was treating my seizures by using the system twice a day. What I

think was happening was that I was inducing some very low glucose levels due to

the high levels of insulin I was taking.. I was having hypoglycemic events back

then that I didn't attribute to the pRoshi.

have actually caused these events. I just did not know that large of an effect

was attributable to the pRoshi in terms of glucose levels. So, if you have

diabetes be careful to monitor you glucose level pre and post session carefully.

This is a very positive effect for me. Reducing insulin levels means I can

start losing weight better instead of gaining more and more due to the large

amounts of insulin I was taking. The more insulin you take the more vorascious

your hunger. I hope this information helps someone out there. I would like to

hear if it works this way in any other bad insulin-dependent diabetics.
