midi sounds

Hi Sue,

You can muscle test what sounds work. If you know what the

pitch is, ie., C, G, D, F, Bb, etc and muscle test for each tone... then

put it down 2 octaves below middle C. People should then be able to

enjoy this experience. It resonates with their body resonance. Did you

know that each organ and cell and system have tones and that these can be

averaged? There's a fascinating work by Dr called

BioTuning in which he teaches one how to get the right tone for a person.

For instance, my tone is Ab (A flat/G sharp) plus 78. My mother's is Ab

+27. And even before I took his training when I hear music with the

Ab it is very highly pleasing to my whole heart/mind/soul. And music with

the accidental that goes to Ab also really resonates with me.

I suspect you are dealing not with people who

dont like midi but they are getting the note/tone that does not resonate

with them. You could muscle test to at least get in the ball park..

How or where are you getting your midi sound from?

Cheers,

Marie

Sue: have you tried the "hot band" arrangement(s)? The midis are programmed so that the "sounds" have interesting rhthmic and tonal characteristics -- jazzlike and very pleasant to listen to. You might also consider minor keys and sharp and flat keys. Major keys are more "solid" sounding while Minor keys are very relaxing.

Sue,

What software are you using.

If you are using bioexplorer you can also use CDs or other types of

audio files as well, BE has enough ability to vary midi tones that I

have never had a client who could enjoy some variation
