Question about Topsy Turvey Tomato thing

I have a good question. At least for me, it's a good question. I live in an

apartment. Not an apartment building, but a private house. I grow my sprouts in

my kitchen. I do not have access to the back yard, and I don't want to bother

anyone. This is my choice.

I want to know one thing. Can I purchase one of those Topsy Turvey tomato plant

things. It says 'put them in the sun " , water them, and they grow upside down.

Now I have a nice pole lamp in my kitchen. It greens up my sprouts very nicely.

Why can't I buy one of these Topsy Turvey things (one of them comes with it's

own stand). So I would put it all together, I would put the stand in some

waterproof bucket thing. I would keep it in my kitchen near my lamp. I would

water it whenever it says to water it. THEN WOULD IT GROW TOMATOES?

Or am I just whistling dixie??
