Guest guest Posted September 15, 2004 Report Share Posted September 15, 2004 Hi Everyone! We are just back from 's second casting. A two day trip from Atlanta to Erie and back. We are all exhausted. The second casting was not exactly what we had hoped for and I am hoping some of you can give me your opinion. did very well but as I said is very tired tonight. We did not however get more correction of the curve. We started in July with a 64 degree curve and RVAD of 31 - after the cast we were at 37 degrees with a RVAD 29. Today the curve measured at 40 degrees but the RVAD at 15. We are disappointed that the curve did not go down but am assuming that we should be glad the RVAD improved. Dr. said that he was somewhat disappointed and that we would have to just wait until the next cast change (December 6th) and see what happens? Have any of you been through this?
