are the noodles made from rice bad? I didn't like the wheat ones at all. I had

switched the kids and I over to the rice and they didn't notice. They are also

big ghetti fans. The kids are pretty brave trying stuff for me but my roomie

is a big problem. I just give the stuff funny names and they eat it, or

because we're still switching our eating habits I'll serve something new with

something they really love. I got my kitchen almost organized and will

start sprouting in 2 weeks (gotta get the ants to stay outside).

Cool. Let me know what you think about the noodles. And thanks so much for the

nice words. I like to help, it sure beats stress and we all benefit.

But, to be honest, my husband prefers the texture of spaghetti to the texture of

these noodles. He had never eaten cellophane noodles before and this was his

first time. He said " this is not bad, don't get me wrong, maybe it's the sauce

you gave me tonight? "

I made him Lo-mein, exactly like I did myself the previous night. I just

combined the noodles with the bok choi and whatever veggie I had on hand. Then I

simply added some low sodium teriyaki sauce.

I thought he would go as nuts over this as he did when I put the tomato sauce on

it. He gave me a look and then he said " oh, it's not bad "

I prodded him and then he said " Well the sauce is to spicy "

I said " really, and tasted it and it was WONDERFUL. So he and I have definitely

different tastes.

Then I said " what about the noodles " ? " and he said " well, they are okay, but I

like spaghetti better " .

The man LIVES for spaghetti and I have to put tomato sauce on everything so he's

not the best to get taste advice from.

I can tell you from tasting these, I am blown away. For me, a diabetic who had

to avoid noodles.

WELL I'M AVOIDING THEM NO MORE.

lol

So eat up and enjoy.

P.S. I even toss some sprouts on these things.
