Guest guest
My brother-in-law, Aubrey Blumsohn (from the UK), who is the whistle blower on actonel research, is now in the US. On Monday he met with a reporter from the Wall Street Journal. He is now in Washington, DC. Yesterday he did an interview for Public Radio and an AP guy was there, who is also following the story. Aubrey will also be meeting with people at NIH and giving a presentation to a women's consumer group. Other newpapers will be interviewing him and he will be visiting several senators in Washington. The story which has had much play in the UK, will hopefully be aired widely here. I will have more info when he returns to visit us in NJ before he goes back home. The AP story has been written and will be printed in a number of newspapers. Here is a site for the Washington Post: http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/02/22/AR2006022200413.\ html All of this may further the cause of improving credibility in medical research, but Aubrey is still suspended from his job and his medical research career now looks bleak.
