Guest guest
FYI I had the opportunity to study under Dr. Bernard Jensen in 1980. It was for one week in the summer and was held at The Feathered Pipe Ranch near Helena, Montana. The year before I studied under Dr. Paavo Airola at the same place. The Feathered Pipe Ranch is still in operation. They hold weekly seminars. Most are now yoga seminars. They have fantastic views, great hiking trails and most of their vegetables they grow organically on (French intensive raised beds) so the food is superb. One afternoon,we climbed up a mountain and looked back down on The Ranch about a mile away. I was on a natural high and stayed that way the whole time. He would lecture in the morning. We would have 3-4 hours off in the afternoon which we would nap, hike and hot tub, then lectures in the evening. It was great! If you pull up this website, the view says it all. Oh, several people caught and threw back brook trout out of their small lake. http://www.featheredpipe.com/ You can learn when you sit and listen to one speaker. They tell you a lot. Jensen and Airola were into natural foods and some supplements. Back then they didn't know about supplementation like we have today, they mainly had natural foods, which I believe is the foundation. First get the diet right before you supplement. Dr Jensen looked well, but may have been a little overweight. His wife was there with him and she gave a talk or two. Lovely people. Later on I heard he got prostate cancer, but beat it. Not sure what caused his death at 93. Both Airola and Jensen wrote many, many books on health and nutrition back in the 70's and 80's. Dr. Weil also gave seminars there, but I didn't have time to attend. S.J. --------------------------------- Ahhh...imagining that irresistible " new car " smell? Check outnew cars at Autos.
