Guest guest
Hello everyone, I have just uploaded a new version of the TLC Assessent for BioExplorer to the website http://www.brain-trainer.com/tlc_assessment/assessment_download.html. The new file is called TLC Assess Pro Consult. It replaces all previous versions of the Assessment for BioExplorer. It gives data in greater detail, including improved and easier to read head maps. You can now add an optional 6th pair of sites, choosing from four options. We have included an Analyze page, which summarizes some of the data to aid in identifying training protocols, and an Options page for planning your protocols. The Analyze page was previously available only in the Assessment used in the Trainers Practicum. There is a new version of the TLC artifacter that works with this Assessment. It is available at no charge to everyone who purchased the original Artifacter. Foxx
Guest guest
Hi Fox, I am a subscriber to the artifacting program. How do I access the new artifacting files? Is there a new version of the Trainer's Practicum TLC or is that replaced by the PRO Consult? Thanks for all your work. Guest guest
Pete~ When you try to open the assessment it says "TLC with optional sites3.xls" could not be found. Loaded into the XLstart folder) The TLC xls file that is in the Pro Consult files is called TLC with optional sites. Is there a typo? Thanks, ~ New Assessment file uploaded to website. Guest guest
Hi , Is it possible that the maps with EO do not include optional sites (at least T5 and T6)? This seems to be the case with my trial. Just checking, Thanks François Dupont, Ph.D., C.Psych. Guest guest
Fox, When installing new assessment, do I need to replace the TLC.xls to TLC with optional sites.xls? Guest guest
Pete / Foxx Can you run older data through the new assessment. I did 4 assessments last week, and would really like to see what they look like in the lastest version. I used O1 O2 as the optional on all 4. Thanks
Guest guest
Jo, You do, if you want the optional sites to work. There are also some macros included that automatically FixReverse, for example, if you mistakenly run the right side of the assessment in Ch1 instead of Ch2. Guest guest
Hi Foxx, I, too, need the new artifacter. I thought I could download what you had attached for Rich but it seemed to be an Excel file rather than the BioEx design I expected. Also, in the zip I downloaded there is a file that syas optional sites that appears to be a black excel file...or am I missing something. I did read the instructions in the packet but did not see this addressed. Thanks, Kittredge On 1/23/06, Van Deusen <pvdtlc@... > wrote: Jo,You do, if you want the optional sites to work. Guest guest
There are two files required for the TLC Pro assessment to be used in either Infiniti or BioExplorer: TLC with optional sites (artifacting or non-artifacting version) This is an Excel file, which goes in the XLStart folder, containing the macros that load the data, etc. It won't open, so it may appear to be empty. TLC Pro Assess Consult This is an Excel file, which can go wherever you choose to keep it, that includes the assessment form with all its views of the data (Reports, Heads, Maps, Histograms, etc.) When it opens, it asks you to Enable macros, which allows them all to work. For BioExplorer users, there are 2-3 additional files: TLC Assess Gather Pro This is a Design file, which includes the objects for gathering the data for an assessment TLC Assess BE Pro Artifact and/or TLC Assess BE Pro Standard These two report files open in BioReview and are used to process the data into a text file either for artifacting and export into the assessment or simply for exporting into the assessment. For Infiniti users there is a CD of files which include channel sets, scripts and screens developed by Francois Dupont to translate the TLC Assess process (both assessment and training options) onto the Infiniti platform; these work with ProComp+, ProComp2 and Infiniti encoders. The CD is available from www.brain-trainer.com or from www.bfe.org (though I don't find any actual link from the site that allows you to purchase the CD).
