Hi Pete,

I want to publicly thank you for your insight, encouragement and

advice about my Neuroband. It has taken 2 1/2 years of trial and

error, however I followed your advise and perfected the Neuroband I

presented to you in Falmouth. I then got it patented. Then I

started on the snaps ( Neurotrode) for the wireless unit too, which

were perfected last May. Lastly, you advised me to sell it

myself and put it on my website. My new web site came out last

week.

http://drdiane.com/neuroband_order.html

So, with many thanks and appreciation. Thank You! See you in

Palm Springs.

Warmest Regards,

Diane

they are cleaned. I simply wipe off the paste carefully with a dry

have a problem using the same neurotrode with multiple clients (as you

would with a standard electrode), you can use them many times with--at

least to my eye--no degradation of the signal.

However, if you try to pop them off the electrode heads, they come apart,

often the very first time.

If we are concerned about the Ag/AgCl electrode in the center, then I

simply watch that for discoloration.

Diane,

Thanks for posting this. I mentioned your system to someone the other day but

did ot know what the site address was.

I am using the PET for neurofeedback and would like to know if the Neuroband can be used with it. From the information on your website, I think I am understanding correctly that it is used for site identification, correct?

Hi Sue,

Answer is absolutely _YES! This past May I went to NY and

worked met with Kamran from Brain Inquiry. I made up a prototype

specifically for him. I use this in my office. In fact,

his unit has the loop Velcro on the wire, so it great on my

Neuroband. I was mentioning to Mark for Thought Technology unit, he

might have to buy the sticky Velcro to put on the top of his

unit.

My Neuroband is not just for site identification, as the Brain Master

headband. My unit is flexible to do precise neurofeedback

training, TLC assessments, Brain Master Mini Q , full 19 QEEG

and 50 leads if needed. It is being using for Seizure and

Sleep Studies at Brigham Women's Hospital in Boston.

What fun about the unit, is that there is no prep, you measure the

head---I keep records so I don't have to do this each time for each

client. Drench the chamois in solution, let it drip first, so

it doesn't drip on the client, put it on and away we go.

This usually takes 2 minutes. It takes 2 seconds to remove the

Neuroband and off they go. No need to clean the paste away

from their head. My CEO's can go off to work without stick

hair or alcohol smell.

Thanks for asking. As mentioned to Larry and Mark, I

truly appreciate the questions. I'm planning to showcase the

Neuroband on Feb 6th at the FutureHealth Conference.

Thanks again.

Diane,

I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product.

Hi ,

I'm looking forward to seeing you at the conference. I can't

remember if we've ever really met in person...my memory with

TBI. I truly have appreciated all your help and insight,

especially with my young man with TBI who was in a coma. He's

doing great, just got his drivers license last March. Couldn't have

done it without your help. Thank You. It

will be my pleasure to buy you lunch or dinner. Your choice.

Warmest Regards,

Diane

I know this won't happen to many people but I thought you might like a laugh at my expense.

Regarding the electrodes that use a "sugar" solution like the chamois: I live near some open land where the mice come into the house as winter blows it's coldness into their wee little bones. This year I was kind of slow putting traps out. Seems I also left my sugar soaked electrodes sitting upon the counter top near the stove. The mice had a feast! I picked up the wires and what shreds were left of the end soaking material just fell on the floor. There's $100+ down the drain! I soon after left peanut butter and cheese out for the little rascals.

, you use sugar, not salt?

: You might also try devising a way to connect the sugar soaked electrodes to a 6 volt dry cell first -- in order to "train" the mice to stay away from your electrodes. You would be really still using them for "neurofeedback" -- right? nick " St. Clair, MSW" <mastclair@...> wrote: , you use sugar, not salt? The recommended electrolyte solution is Glaceau Fruitwater (SmartBrainGames). Has lots of electrolytes but the main ingredient is fructose, like Gatorade. So *I* tend to call the mixture sugar water.

Thanks for checking. Could have been an big oops.

Nick,

I would probably try to go with full 110 volt AC and then forget to turn it off before I picked it up myself! That's how I've conditioned myself to having lots of phobias!
