Guest guest
Groups of us have been going down to the State Legislature--- since 1992!!!! Every time something comes up about natural healing/ herbs/ vitamins..be alert ,THEY try to marginalize freedom of choice at every level. The last time , nationally, a bunch of folks let their Congress people know how much to leave things alone. Be ready to squawk!!1 ng Re: Feds eye control of vitamins, supplements - even water! My Dad, a retired chiropractor, told me the FDA has been trying to do this since the begining of time and it never passes. That doesn't mean it never will but its typically not a concern. > > > > > > > > > > Appointed by Bush most likely. Guest guest
Um.. what the hell? I am voting for him and I am on board for him b/c I AGREE with his politics. That is who I am. Beside that I think he is hot --I said it as a tongue-in-cheek joke. if you are ill, take a motrin and go lay down. His wife believes in his message which is why she is encouraging him to continue, I would do the exact same thing. Not all women need a man to hold their hand while they fight a disease, and she appears to be one of those strong women who wouldn't think of asking her hubby to give up his goal. You are right, politics in DC will not get my child better, that is why I do not vote on ONE issue. Mercury is not my only issue. lordy. Guest guest
Does this mean you will need an RX for a vibrator??? I better stock up!!! oh.... wait... maybe insurance will pay for it then. oh.... wait.... maybe then you can files for disabilty if its been a really long time since you've have sex --collect a disabilty check and have them supply all the "personal massagers" one could ever need.... thank god for medical regulation! --seriously though, Holy water? couldn't this be used against them? aren't they treading on Religion? and really... can't anyone bless water? There.... I just blessed my coffee, should I call the FDA and have them come check it out? weird... Re: Feds eye control of vitamins, supplements – even water! Am I the only one that noticed this in the article.............. Massage oils and handheld massagers will be regulated as "medical devices." Will they stop at nothing? Guest guest
Kendra, don't panic. Check out the " Butterfly " at Ambiance, the store for lovers, out of NE Ohio. It's hands free. Really. So I guess the butterly " flies " under the radar? This is all too damn funny. What, FDA is going to go after " The Sharper Image " where on Sex and the City bought her " neck massager? " Greatest line ever? " This vibrator is broken " Clerk at Sharper Image: " Ma'am, it's a neck massager. " : " Well this neck massager isn't getting me off any more. " I do miss that show. Guest guest
Unfortunately, the candidates are not "in our shoes". Most of them are very wealthy and cannot relate to our struggles. Having someone who will listen is a start. I, too, was joking...although, I DO like the accent (being from the "North", I don't hear it often). I was at an autism meeting last night. I recorded the coverage, but haven't had a chance to watch the Democratic Debate that was on MSNBC last night - any opinions about the candidates?..." M. Guest guest
Three senators and congress people I know that really want to help kids on the spectrum are , Mike Doyle & Dan Burton. I don't really hear much on the autism caucus started in 2000 but I was there to support.Jody Mack <isjois3@...> wrote: Unfortunately, the candidates are not "in our shoes". Guest guest
Not sure about that! When my grandmother was in her early 80's she was eyeing one of my husband's groomsmen at our wedding (a real hunk he was.) She laughed and said to us " I'm old, I'm not cold! " LOL! Maybe you should go with the flowers just to be safe though. Guest guest
Kim, Hey,I never said the " V " word....just Hand Held Massaging Device (HHMDs). But since you brought it up Kim, my birthday is May 12th, right around the corner and we better get them before we have the FDA raiding our homes. They can confiscate my HHMD's along with all my Kirkman's products and much more. It reminds me of the ole Saturday Night Live Skit (OK, I'm giving away my age here) but some of you will recall the supreme court around the bed with Chevy Chase and Jane Curtain in it, and every once in a while, a judge peeking under the covers they would say, " tut tut tut, that is not allowed " .
