Guest guest
Re: replacing lost minerals Rosie, you are right. How one gets the extra minerals doesn't matter. Get them anyway they can. I happen to think a natural source supplies them in some balanced way, rather than a mineral supplement. I'm juicing for other reasons and it is time consuming - but it makes me feel great when I can. I think I also need to buy an additional old refrig to put in the basement for the produce since it takes up so much room in the refrig. I have cancer diagnosis last year so I have to make the time. Any way to get mineral rich foods in you between all those CSM doses is the idea though. Doesn't matter how, but you need EXTRAS of all minerals since the CSM will not be able to tell an undesireable element from a desireable one. No use dissolving your bones and teeth. >> > You are correct however my realistic input is that most people cannot grow
Guest guest
Barb when I had cancer I juiced 3x a day. So I applaud what you are doing and wish everyone had the time, the finances, source for organic produce and ability to juice. Unfortunately that's not reality so it's best to give others alternatives. Lol when I started out in this healthier business I decided everyone had to be perfect...soon learned myself it's impossible and baby steps are often the best unless someone has an emergency situation. My new objective is " complimentary " ; meaning we utilize what is within our ability and do the research to see what is the best within our parameters. Sigh, I worked with people who had no income other than very small disability having to make do. How in the world could I insist they had to eat nothing but organic, buy a juicer, buy bags of expensive vegetables .....these people ...you all understand what I'm trying to say. Even changing a few things can make a difference and often was able to help them increase their wellbeing by changing their diets. A can of sardines isn't too expensive (50cents) and very healthy; a big bag of organic brown and wild rice; a big bag of og mung beans to help with their GI distress, some DGL in powder form, eliminating junk food, etc goes a long way. I'm so happy you can do it and encourage you to continue. Rosie On Behalf Of barb1283 Rosie, you are right. How one gets the extra minerals doesn't matter. Get them anyway they can. Rosie, og mung beans? GI distress, sounds like something we could use. Are these beans everywhere? Never heard of them before. Guess I'll ask, probably should already know, but have not a clue-what is DGL powder? What does it do? Or maybe I just dont recongnize the initials? Guest guest
Rosie, I know about the trace minerals. I guess I avoid them because they state they contain arsenic and mercury also. I guess we have arsenic and mercury in all water though? How do you determine right amounts? Due to the fact that undesireable minerals are in there too like mercury and arsenic, one wouldn't want to use too much. This has stumped me but I'm sure the spring water I buy has arsenic and mercury in them too. They just aren't on the label! > > Barb when I had cancer I juiced 3x a day. My Trace Minerals Concentrace Mineral Drops bottle doesn't list arsenic and mercury. In fact, when I did a study about 10 years ago looking into the various trace minerals I asked for a detailed independent laboratory analysis from all the companies. Some refused, others had microminerals and elements that I didn't want to consume including mercury and arsenic. TraceMinerals in my humble opinion was the safest. Suggest dosage for an adult is between 20-40 drops a day. Please see: http://www.traceminerals.com/products/drops.html for complete listing of ingredients. Thanx,>> I so happy you are helping your daughter and enjoy giving you a little advise however.... , start googling. You have a brilliant mind. I can give suggestions/ideas but don't have time to give you all the details. Mung beans you can research on the internet. I gave you the full name for DGL and you can google DGL also. I know you understand why I cannot give you detailed responses to all your questions and also know you can find them in cyberspace.
