Guest guest
Hi Jay, I don't remember having diarrhea, fever or vomiting at all. I did get constipated, was extremely tired and did feel a little nauseous. Mostly I slept and slept some more and just didn't feel very good. But I have to tell you that 2 yrs. later I am feeling 100% better than I did. I took my CSM and never missed a dose! I would mix it up in a small plastic bottle before going to bed. Early in the AM about 5am I would take the 1st dose, another about 10:30am, then again about 3PM and the last one about 9PM. Worked for me & didn't interfer with eating or other meds. Good luck! If you have any other questions please feel free to get in touch! Sue Hi all, My son started CSM almost 4 weeks ago but after about 2 1/2 weeks on CSM, he suddenly developed severe vomiting, watery diarrhea and a mild fever. He wasn't exposed to ANY virus as far as I know, so I thought this must have been due to the CSM pulling the toxins, but Dr.S's staff told me it was not related to CSM. Then after about 4 days, he got better and stools are much better too. Since he has never had this kind of illness except when it all started with his severe vomiting and gagging and diarrhea several years ago. Anyway, I started CSM about a week ago and I am having severe watery diarrhea and nausea but no fever. I really think it is due to the CSM pulling toxins but don't know for sure. Again, this kind of illness is unusual for me too. I wanted to see if anyone had similar experience with CSM. Thanks so much Jay ,
Guest guest
This seems to be an odd reaction to CSM when everything I read in the PDR type materials says that if anything, CSM can cause constipation...Wondering if you are reacting to timing of taking the CSM versus when you are eating or if you are reacting to the food coloring and other inert ingredients that come in the CSM. Some on this list have been getting the product compounded from various pharmacies. So no, I am not having the reaction that you did... _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of jay krishnaa Sent: Friday, March 10, 2006 1:49 PM Subject: [] A Question on CSM Hi all, My son started CSM almost 4 weeks ago but after about 2 1/2 weeks on CSM, he suddenly developed severe vomiting, watery diarrhea and a mild fever. Guest guest
Thanks, . Both my son and I are on compounded CSM, so it can't be the fillers etc. My son's reaction stopped a week ago even though the timing of CSM/eating meals have remained the same. I haven't changed the timing for me either. I will see how long this reaction lasts. I really think it is NOT a virus or some bug causing this. My stools did look better immediately after I started the CSM and my son also has healthy looking stools now. Whenever I did Hulda 's Liver Cleanse in the past, I had similar looking healthy stools immediately after the flush for about a week indicating good bile circulation. So, I am assuming a similar thing is going on. Thanks Jay L <knightshotter@...> wrote: This seems to be an odd reaction to CSM when everything I read in the PDR type materials says that if anything, CSM can cause constipation...Wondering if you are reacting to timing of taking the CSM versus when you are eating or if you are reacting to the food coloring and other inert ingredients that come in the CSM. Guest guest
Jay, I got very ill at first but did not have the diarrhea..just the opposite. It may be that you are detoxing too fast. I had to stay with just 2 doses a day. You might try that and see if it makes a difference. Guest guest
Thanks, Marcie. It helps to know people's experiences on CSM. I also feel it is the detox effect. I will see how long it lasts for me. You're right about the dosage too. I was given 1 tablespoon 4 times a day and I only did 3 times a day and 1 tablespoon was a LOT of 'stuff'. So, I reduced to 1/2 tablespoon 3 times a day recently. Thanks Jay Marcie McGovern <marcie1029@...> wrote: Jay, I got very ill at first but did not have the diarrhea..just the opposite. I also had Sorbitol to it because it blocks me up too bad.( 4 tablespoons of sorbitol) There is no way I could do 4 doses of this a day right now. UGH!!!! Guest guest
Jay, The CSM really helped my muscle/joint pain. After a little more than a week the first thing to improve was my brain fog. I honestly felt like I had crawled out from under a cave. I had a clear mind and it was a wonderful feeling!! Little by little everything started to get better. After 2 yrs. I still suffer from some short term memory loss and I get tired if I do too much in one day. Other than that all my aches, pains, muscle twitches, excessive thirst, debilitating fatigue, blinding headaches, slurred speech, blurred vision, ear aches, itchy skin, sleeplessness, etc. are gone. I was poisoned for so long I didn't know what it was like to feel well. I know you mentioned it but I can't remember how old your son is. I have a friend that has a 16 yr. old son that is sick & can't even go to school. Contact me directly and I'll give you her name, address, phone. I don't know where you live, but I have a few other people you can contact with sick children. It might help to talk to them. Sue

Guest guest
You could be right Marcie, but personally I don't see how one can 'detox' too quickly. I do see how one could kill too many microbes or fungus too quickly, then too many toxins are released into the body for the liver to get rid of and thus the liver damage problem of antifungal agents. I have heard that term before though, detoxing too fast. I just don't beleive that the body would object to getting rid of toxins quickly. If I have a severe reaction to something, I'm stopping it for awhile and allowing my insides to recover, then try a lower dose to see if that is tolerated okay. As for my reaction to CSM. I think it was too irritating to my GI tracts. I have developed many allergies, including food allergies, like many others here, that may keep my GI tract irritated and I think it just couldn't take the all the insoluable fibers. It could have been an allergic response too since I seem to be allergic to almost everything now. > > Jay, > > I got very ill at first but did not have the diarrhea..just the opposite. Guest guest
I also dropped alot of weight and went down to 5-3 106 and couldn't put weight back on but I thought it was my cancer (fall of 2004). Guest guest
- my problem too barb, thats why Im leery, and really feel like I need a expert and a total dignoses like Dr. Rea does at EHC, but money doesnt grow on trees. I've aready been through so many prescribed med's from regular doctors,my stomach is a mess, everytime I eat it bloats up, I was supposed to go back to the specialest that dignosed the MCS, allergies, food allergies, for more testing, but have a bill there and cant afford to get there again, so I still dont know all my allergies, and irratants. -- In , " barb1283 " <barb1283@...> wrote: > > You could be right Marcie, but personally I don't see how one > can 'detox' too quickly. Thanks so much Jay ,
Guest guest
my illness also started with some medicine that I was put on that had a side effect of suppressing my immune syste. It said so in insert but wow, they are sooooo long. It gave me a terrible sore throat. I told my doctor, he said to just take less, however now off of medicine for over a year, I still have throat soreness (I had developed Epstein Barr virus), and my stomach was inflamed and ulcerated. So that was done by medicine. Ulcers are gone but I still have bloating and something I call 'empty stomach belching'. I belch like a man. It's awful, so my stomach is messed up also and also due to medicine (and reason I probably can't keep the CSM down). I try to avoid most medicine now unless I read everything and then try small dose first, etc. If I develope something like I did, like sore throat, I'm going off of it and like CSM vomiting, off of it. I can't afford to take risk, I had cancer last year and my health is very fragile. > > - my problem too barb, thats why Im leery, and really feel like I > need a expert and a total dignoses like Dr. Rea does at EHC, but > money doesnt grow on trees. Guest guest
Maybe in your weakened state, you developed Epstein Bar virus like me. It tends to strike people who have weakened immune system or systemic Candidas. Guest guest
I don't understand the need for more testing, and most Dr won't know what is wrong with you anyway- the only tests that show mold illnesses, besides Dr Crofts tests are the ones described and outlined by Shoemaker in his book Mold Warriors. Stomach bloating up is most likly candida overgrowth do to mold exposure- you need to start treating yourself if you want to get better- get a perscription for CSM and practice avoidence of mold- the candida will be helped immensly if you stay on Shoemakers no amlose diet. I don't think you need another " specialist " - who probably does not know anything to get better- you need to do the work youself. > - my problem too barb, thats why Im leery, and really feel like I > need a expert and a total dignoses like Dr. Rea does at EHC, but > money doesnt grow on trees. Guest guest
-Dr Shoemaker thinks that fish oils help resolve chronic fatigue- I have very little fatigue now , after a year of CSM and lots of fish oil -- In , " who " <jeaninem660@...> wrote: > > I lot 60lbs in 6 months while in the mold. sence getting out of it, I > just keep slowly gaining weight, and dont really eat much, and have > very little energy. Guest guest
My original exposure gave me allot of stomack bloating- which resolved itself with my normal diet- which included allot of pro- biotics anyway- numerouse people seem to get candida from mold- That is why I mention it- of course anything is possible- I also had candida in my mouth and throat and hair and ears- when the immune system crashes you can get covered with it. my subsequent exposure did not give me candida in the gut- but wheat intolerence- would be of interest to know why- but getting healthy will have to do for me. My GP had no problem with perscribing CSM_ I think if you do your homework- act knowledgably- and give your DR some info- you can get a script- of course there are allot of crabby stubborn Drs who don't believe a biotoxin even exists- then you need a new DR > > >>On Behalf Of carondeen Stomach bloating up is most likly candida > overgrowth do to mold exposure- you need to start treating yourself if you > want to get better- get a perscription for CSM and practice avoidence of > mold- the candida will be helped immensly if you stay on Shoemakers no > amlose diet. Guest guest
, I'll have to agree with you on the candida levels. My wife's was very high after her exposure, but I'm not sure what they are now. They haven't been checked for a while. In my opinion and again I am not a doctor, what many do not realize after an exposure and I can only speak from personal experience and tests we've had done, the stomach acids, good bacteria (very low), enzymes, etc., are all messed up. Most of the time this is why many experience the bloating that is rock hard and the acid reflux and heartburn. It's seems its not from an over amount of acid, it's from not enough. And because of this your digestive track is not working properly. (at least in our case.) What helped varify this was the use of digestive enzymes that we had a great results with. But I know it does not work for everyone. By using the CSM and removing the toxins hopefully it will get some of these levels back on track. Or at least where suppliments will work better. For those who can't find a doctor to prescibe CSM, not that this is a one size fits all medication, but it obviously it does help, you have to find something to rebuild your immune system and to remove some of these toxins. For any doctors that refuse to prescibe CSM I would inform them documented information would help, that this has been used for many years to remove all types of toxins in animals and humans. It's not like it is an addictive drug or a barbituate so I really don't under what the problem is. It sounds more like a personal opinion on something that they are not aware of. Just my two cents. You have to start somewhere and I do understand about finances being tight. Your health and life depends on it.
