Guest guest
I would chalk it up to being a new walker. A 15 degree lumbar curve wouldn't stop a child from walking. had a 50 degree curve and walked okay with his fisher price walker.

But like I said, too much time on my hands to think b4 we meet with the peds ortho.
Guest guest
Nate is EXACTLY the same. He didnt walk until 14 months and is 18months now and VERY unstable. He falls quite a bit but it doesnt seem to faze him anymore. He just gets right back up and toddles off again. Grass is hard for him, actually anything that is uneven is difficult. He does really well if he holds one hand with mine. He doctor says that its normal for children his age and that boys tend to be a little slower than girls. My daughter was 7 months when she first walked and was very good at it. The ortho did mention if his balance did not improve by 2yrs then he would " look furthur into it " whatever that means!
