Guest guest
First, I want to thank Van Deusen for an excellent workshop recently in Ohio, anyone in Neurofeedback who has not attended his workshops should check out his approach. I have been using the latest TLC Assess Pro analysis , and in the " Maps " section under the frequency maps there are 2 large maps for total amplitude, eyes closed and with task, I am having a mental block and cannot recall how to use them. What are the units for the ranges 40-50, 30-40, 20-30 , etc ? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Joe Duba, M.D. __________________________________ - PC Magazine Editors' Choice 2005 http://mail. Guest guest
Joe, No mental block. The total amplitudes weren't covered in the workshop (mostly because I almost never use them myself). They are, as the name suggests, amplitudes, so they are measured in microvolts. Occasionally they will show a strong amplitude asymmetry, but generally I find the histograms are better for reading those anyway. Probably ought to just drop them from the reports. Guest guest
Please don't drop them Pete- They're... pretty. The most totemic images of all are these ALL amplitude maps. I've seen cobras, faces and many "strong assymetries" in these general images. Don't hurt to have on the page. a TLC Assess Pro issue> > I have been using the latest TLC Assess Pro analysis, and in the "Maps " section under the frequencymaps there are 2 large maps for total amplitude, eyesclosed and with task, I am having a mental block andcannot recall how to use them.
