Dear Jeanne and Ed,

Some members of our family have been diagnosed with hypoglycemia and

postural falling blood pressure. Some experts think both have something

to do with low adrenal cortex hormones.

Several of my children got low adrenal cortex shots for quite a few

years about thirty years ago. My one son got a 4..0 average at Catholic

U. and became a chess champion.

My handicapped son was helped with his being schizophenia effective and

hypoglycemic. But no doctor will give those shots anymore.

Symptoms then of low adrenal hormones in men were smooth calves on the

legs, a smooth chest and a huge shock of hair. My daddy had those

symptoms.

My blood pressure in the Navy was 110 and I was able to be Right Guide

on a champion platoon.

I have four lovely daughters and most had blood pressure of 90/60 as

teenages. It didn't keep them from being active, but sometimes one would

sit up suddenly in the bunk bed and black out for a minute. They are all

still active.

About twenty years ago, I had an attack of high blood pressure of

165/110. The doctor took me off salt. As long as I don't add salt, eat

canned goods, prepackaged meats or eat Chinese food, my blood pressure

stays at 120/70 or 130/80.

It is a struggle. Until I started drinking a large bowl of green tea and

one of white tea every day, I would put on a pound of fluid every day

until i weighed five pounds more and then I would have to take a lasix

to get down to my real weight. Now i just stay around 180 lbs. For

years I weighed 210.

About seven years ago, my boyfriend and i ate Chinese food for four

days. Our feet swelled up like balloons. His were still swollen when he

died a short time later. Now my fluid collects in my abdomen.

They say that most of the healthy elderly have low blood pressure, so

maybe it isn't all bad after all.

Kombucha Tea does not seem to have any effect on my blood pressure.

LOve. MArge.
