Are you also taking other minerals with the magnesium? I was googling to find the ingredients for the Ultimate " 10 " Probiotic since 10-12 capsules/day is an unusual high amount to take. The only product by that name is made by VitaminShoppe. Is this the one you are taking? Perhaps you could find another probiotic that would supply more viable cells, you could reduce the capsules you take (take with meals) and save some money if that is a concern. If you can tolerate milk, you could look into making your own real kefir cultured milk which would provide quite a few friendly bacteria to your intestines. Cost would only be the milk itself once you have the real kefir grains....see http://www.kefir.biz/nutrition.htm FYI I'm dairy intolerant and culture mine in organic coconut and culture my husband's in raw grass-fed milk and use it in his morning smoothie plus on my face for my special pampering. If you want you might try crushing your magnesium capsules and dissolving in hot water. You might find you need less and is better absorbed. I've often wondered if those dried up, super compressed tablets really dissolve adequately to be useful. Guest guest Posted March 6, 2006 Report Share Posted March 6, 2006 You are Correct Vitaminshop and my Doctor told me to get the Magnesium I don't know if it's short or long term he didn't say he just said come back in two weeks. I don't know the reason he told me this I told him about the foot burning and the And the Ultimate " 10 " Probiotic since. I live in HUD Housing and didn't get lucky enough to have careing people in my life I have really been on my own scince the death of my mother 3 day's before my 10 Birthday she died in 1960 all I know was work. and now because of my ILLNESS I can't do that so I just pray and keep hope alive nothing more can I do other than try.
