Guest guest
Wow Rosie, I'll have to check out Cosco. Didn't even think they would have anything. Thank you. My fathers partener works with alot of Amish. They are going to check with them too and see if any of them produce organic. Yes, it is VERY expensive. My father was a skeptic, but after seeing the results has offered to help me pay for the organic stuff, and the things we need to continue this. I guess proof is in the pudding. Guest guest
Hannafords? If that a store, or is it online. There are alot of places online, but I am not sure of the quality. I like to see it in person and read ALL of the ingredients before I buy it. But, I am sure over time some will tell me where they get theirs online and the quality and I will try it too. Just takes time for me to adjust to another way of thinking. Re: [] Re:the best thing > Hannafords has a section just with organic foods. Guest guest
Hi and all: My local Costco keeps impressing me every time I go in there. They have organic milk, butter, frozen vegetables and fruits, organic coffee (got to have my coffee). Their brand of chicken is antibiotic and hormone free (not organic but a lot cleaner and healthier than regular chicken and we are eating that without any problems; I think a chicken is about 79cents a pound). They also have some nice frozen berry combinations which are not organic but very clean. I'll send you a list of the top 12 produce that are highest in pesticides which we must avoid (or should avoid if possible and I refuse to purchase them unless organic or just do without) and those that really don't need to be organic. I still recommend you read all the labels even if it says " organic " . For example Costco recently came out with their own brand of organic peanut butter; however they added sugar and other things which are not that healthy for us. Same applies to their supplements. I don't have a Sam's membership so don't know if they have organic products. Anyone know? Rosie On Behalf Of Wow Rosie, I'll have to check out Cosco. Didn't even think they would have anything.
