County Parents Sue School Board

A group of parents are suing the County School System over

what they claim are unclean conditions in school buildings.

The lawsuit accuses the board of failing to act on reports of mold

at Sumiton Elementary and Sumiton Middle School.

Those who filed the suit are demanding they be allowed to test the

school for evidence of mold.

Superintendent Harvey Samford said the school has been tested for

mold and he hopes to get those results in about a week.
