The scoby may have clogged it but it did not grow or colonize in there.

Colleen , the list originator, did extensive research regarding septic

systems and kombucha and deternined that this is pure Urban Legend. Very

few, if any, septic systems provide the aerobic environment for the Kt to

grow and the toxins within the system soon destroy what Kt gets in.

Well, you know, this might be the case, however I would not take the

chance - considering a new system is going to cost you big bucks.. and it is

easy to avoid.. I personally would not take that chance.
