Guest guest
Annie--go take a whiz and lose a pound. Seriously, your weight will fluctuate up and down probably 5 pounds on a daily basis; that small of a difference means nothing. Pick a day of the week for your " official " weigh in, and don't worry about in-between or you'll drive yourself nuts. Where are your fibrous veggies? This is the perfect time of year to make yourself a humongous, righteous salad every day--cucumbers and zuccini will never be cheaper or fresher; mix with shredded spinach, some chopped up chicken and a flavorful vinagrette dressing. If you're really serious about this and want to jump-start your weight loss, you shouldn't be having two " cheat " foods in a day--the angel food cake and the popcorn before bedtime. Yeah, I know angel food cake is fat free, but it still has sugar and white flour. Popcorn might be OK after your workout, but you should avoid starchy carbs in the evening. They're replacing the healthier foods you should be eating, like the aforementioned fibrous veggies. Oh, and what's with all the cheese? Guest guest
First of all, it's been 3 days! Weight flucuate based on water, time of month, salt intake, whatever. Don't weigh yourself more than once a week: first thing in the morning, NOT after a free day. Your meals are not balanced. Have you read the book? You should be combining a carb and protein at every meal. Popcorn, for example, is just a carb. wisconsin_butterfly wrote: Alright, today is my 3rd day on BFL and I am loving it so far. Here's a sample of my menu: Meal #1 - breakfast - FiberOne cereal with skim milk Low-fat yogurt Meal #2 - Snack - String cheese (2) Meal #3 - Lunch - 1 whole wheat pita (cut in 2 halves) filled with low-fat ham and fat- free cheese warmed up Fruit Meal #4 - Snack - String cheese (3) Meal #5 - Dinner - Chicken (palm sized) 3 small round red potatoes Tomatoes mixed with onions and hot peppers Angel food cake with fresh fruit for dessert Meal #6 - Snack - Popcorn Plus I exercised and drank lots of water. Guest guest
Hi everyone!! i found the MOST beautiful beans I have ever seen... they are really incredible!! I got black Calypso beans and brown Tiger's Eye beans. They are really something!! Anyway, I started soaking the Calypso's this morning, and some of them already have a tail!! Does Anyone know anything about sprouting these heirloom beans!?!? I don't want to mess up... not sure how long to soak, but don't think I am going to wait 12 hours... Thanks, Jenn
