Guest guest
Thanks for your thanks. Sometimes I think we know better than some of the Doc's,what it is we need.I wonder how many so called liver specialists and nurses pop in here to the real world,to hear first hand what is really going on with their patients. Janet Reno is thumper and Clyde W is my grandapa. What have you done with him?
Guest guest
Hey Connie, Just saw your email, but it looks like Thia took care of things. As long as you get the lid on, you're good. I like to leave some space so I can stir in honey or ground flax seeds right before I eat it. I've been so down the last few days. I went to the doc Monday to see what my latest lab results were for thyroid levels. My levels keep going higher even though they took me off the meds (because I was hypo originally). She thinks I have Graves disease. Because of rapid heartbeat and palpitations I'm not even allowed to work out or walk for exercise (this is my sanity saver). I was hoping it was not Graves because it has the most complications. If anyone in the group knows anything about this can you let me know? Thanks, Sherry
Guest guest
Awww, Sherry! I don't know anything about Graves or how to fix your problem but I will pray for you. I expect you will get some excellent input from Sparrow... Connie http://www.home-and-school-solutions.com/ > > Hey Connie, Just saw your email, but it looks like Thia took care of things. Guest guest
Sparrow, I'm so sorry that your husband is sick....I can't even imagine your pain. What is his illness? I remember you had mentioned that he saved your life.....at least I think that's what you wrote....sorry if I'm wrong. I know that feeling - my husband saved mine too. As for mothers, mine pretty much abandoned me as well but that's another story. Isn't it amazing how parents write on the slate of their children's lives? It is just now, at 52, that I've been able to erase most of it. Sherry > > Wow, that's a while. I really admire your dedication! It would be foolish to give up now - I've already sunk the last 5 years of my life into it and have racked up a pretty fancy debt. > I didn't graduate college....had my son when I was 18 and > then raising him, then 3 daughters ....just didn't have the time or money.. Be glad you didn't try. My mother spent my formative years getting three degrees and I am still working through the damage. While I applaud the energy of mothers who go to university, I think it's not very healthy for their semi-abandoned children. In many ways it's been a blessing that I'm barren and have a dying husband because the former gave me the time to get an education and the latter gave me the urgency to prepare to provide for myself.
