Guest guest
Today I got knife happy and cut down a mustard seed plant that was getting in the way of my broccoli; many of the leaves were bug-eaten so I figured I might as well. I had only planted the mustard seeds (from a package of sprouting seeds) for the sake of the leaves for salad. But when I got them in the house and started stripping off the leaves I discovered that the stems were full of tiny little seed pods and I filled a soup bowl! Because I do not like to waste anything, I would like to use them somehow. Ideas? My son and I (independently) thought of throwing them into a stirfry... Do immature mustard seeds and their pods happen to be poisonous? Are they considered edible? Do you have any recipes? Thanks, Connie http://www.home-and-school-solutions.com/
