Guest guest
My 5 month old daughter was just diagnosed by our pediatrician with infantile scoliosis (25 degree, right thoracic). She has had one x- ray. We have been referred to a pediatric orthopedist. has been through a lot, having been born slightly premature and having to spend 2 weeks in the NICU unit. She appears healthy and, in fact, thriving. Her motor and cognitive skills appear excellent. I am very worried, to say the least. I know there are probably plenty out there facing much worse, but having almost lost the night she was born, I'm not sure how much more I can take. Can anyone share anything that may provide comfort?
