Guest guest
It's certainly not without risks. Guest guest
Hi Nenah. I think these are good suggestions for a minor burn. But I don't see any of these working to stop the pain of a third degree burn in less than a minute. Or to so stop the spread of the damage that no surgery is required. I probably sound cranky. I am not. Just think that if I had a loved one with a serious life threatening burn, this is one time I would go with the heparin, rather than vit e , etc. from my past experience with burns and from the success of heparin that I have read about. Anyone know? Spectro-Chrome color therapy; vitamin E, high concentration, constantly applied; lavender essential oil; colloidal silver, continually applied on bandage. Guest guest
Medical treatments can sometimes do wonderful things for acute problems if the medical doctors have the training and sense to do them. Clot busters are great, for example. Now, if they would just add intravenous magnesium for heart attacks. I think most of us here are primarily just against long term drugs treatments and such, if there are nutritional alternatives. Donna has a lot of sense. By the way, Donna, cuss my hide, but I seem to react to the MSM in the Glucomatrix minerals. It gives me a toxic headache. Molybdenum deficiency, I know. jp
Guest guest
What are glucomatrix minerals?? Why does msm cause a headache when you are deficient in molyB? Thanks Donna http://www.excellentthings.com Re: Heparin is a Wonderful New Therapy For Burns Medical treatments can sometimes do wonderful things for acute problems if the medical doctors have the training and sense to do them. Guest guest
Vital Earth Fulvic acid minerals plus glucosamine, chondroitin, msm. Thought when I ordered some of the straight minerals, I'd order some with the " back and joint stuff " in them. I've read that if you get a headache from msm, you're deficient in molybdenum. Well, one shot of that, even a small one, brings on the same kind of headache msm does for me. Haven't heard any complaints from my sister or mom. I'm always the odd one. jp What are glucomatrix minerals?? Why does msm cause a headache when you are deficient in molyB? Guest guest
Got it. Well, I haven't used any of their products except the fulvic minerals. That's all of their stuff that I sell. Immucell by http://www.neocellcorporation.com is a product I recently added to my list, as a friend got immediately pain relief and increased mobility of frozen joint with it. It is the only natural cold processed collagen 2 on the market. The glucosamine and chondointin and hyaluronic acid in it are all naturally occurring and work wonderfully. I recently developed plantar faciitis and this resoved it within two days. Another lady with chronic sciatic pain said it helped her immediately also. If you can't do the vital earth formula, this might work for you. It's about the same price $24. The shipping is alot less as it is light. Anyone know? Ack! I know I've said this many times before, but I guess it is just too difficult to believe... The absolute best thing for burns - even really *bad* burns - is truly raw honey. The only truly raw commercial brands that I know of are 'Really Raw', and YS Organics'. I love the 'YS Organics' personally, but either will do. Just so you know, honey producers can heat their honey to - I believe it is 160 degrees - and still legally call it 'raw'. The above mentioned two do not heat their honey at all. It stops the burning within seconds (or at most a few minutes, with substantial immediate relief), and the burn will never blister and will heal in a day or two with no scarring at all. Raw honey will also completely remove old scars within a few weeks to a few months of daily application. One of the girls in our office was skeptical, but vain enough to try it - and she was thrilled that it worked as advertised - she is now a raw honey 'nut', did lots of googling on the many uses of it, and now puts it on her face and rinses her hair with it. Just apply, and then put a bandage over it. Change at least oince a day, but 2-3 times for best results. If the burn is really bad, be very careful when changing the bandage, and be sure to apply the honey liberally. If necessary, wet the bandage with warn water when changing, to keep it from pulling skin off if it gets stuck to the skin/wound. Basically, just use your head. It truly is a miracle food. --
