H Dorri, it sounds to me like pouring vinegar in an open wound. Why not

try aloe vera? I always get a burn in my neck from perms. My beautician

gently dabs it with cold water and then puts on a special creme. Aloe

vera heals and soothes.

I have heard it reported from a woman with lupus (which brings

extreme sun sensitivity) that putting homemade kefir on her sun

burns brings a lot of relief. Sounds like yours is a chemical burn,

but it might be worth a try if you have some kefir around!

Thanks all for your advice on burns. I ended up using aloe vera juice on it and

is getting better. Have had many perms, but never a burn like this before. My

hair turned out great though :)

Take care,

Dorri
