Guest guest
Dear Sprite, I was so disappointed. My head was buzzing more and more, but I didn't take a lasix. I depended on my green tea-white tea cure to take the salt out. Will it didn't. In four days I went from l82.5 pounds to 186.5 pounds taday. It's too late to take a lasix, because I am going to the dentist at noon. A dear friend ate a whole lobster for six out of seven days and ended with a stroke ten days ago. Before that, she was eating broiled fish so as not to get too much salt. As long as I don't add salt , use pre-packaged meats or eat canned vegetables, I have normal blood pressure. Friends who have had strokes had buzzing in the head before the attack. I get buzzing in the head as I put on fluid. When it is really bad, it sounds like cicadas. Last week, I had some buzzing and my blood pressure was 110/70 after taking both lasix and my green tea-white tea cure. That made me think I could depend on the teas to do it all. Now No O. Woe. Blessings on you all. LOve. MArge.
Guest guest
Dear MArge, I really am so sorry to hear that. Oh woe of woes what have you decided to do now? I wonder if maybe you would be willing to try the water thing for just one week. Not the water cure which calls for salt, but plain water served over ice and maybe with a squirt of lemon or lime, and drink with a straw. I know I have been neglecting the water recently and am paying dearly for it. But I know I will start feeling better in no time, just need to get my intake levels up. I try to get up to 8 -- 8 ounce glasses a day, Actually I use a 16 ounces glass and try to do the four of those by sipping at it continually all day. Let me know what you plan to do next. Guest guest
One should drink this much water everyday, not merely for getting well, but to stay well (regular, daily maintenance). Also, I have read that it is better not to use ice, rather drink the water at an ambient temperature. The only exception to this is if one's body is extremely overheated, like after exercise. Also, I like the idea of adding some lime. Water with lime is my all time favorite beverage (yes, even better than our beloved KT). Adding lime helps to alkalinize our body (as does KT), this can greatly benefit our health. MArge, I hope you are getting some exercise. Even if it means simply walking across the room a few times a day, get some exercise. That is one of our best remedies for lowering blood pressure, no matter what the cause. I know you are avoiding salt, ¡que bueno! I have learned throughout the years, after avoiding salt as much as possible, that I can easily detect salt in any food. The difficulty is this, a small amount of salt helps us to produce hydrochloric acid in our stomach, which is necessary for good digestion. What is one to do? I discovered a certain salt, offered at health food stores called " Real Salt " , it has a balance of other minerals, including potassium and calcium. This helps to corral the effects of unbridled sodium. The problem with most table salts is that the other beneficial minerals have been destroyed by the baking (drying) process, leaving only the sodium. This does not happen with " Real Salt " . I would suggest you speak with your healthcare professional about this, though if you would like to read more about " Real Salt " , check out www.realsalt.com for some good information about it (another brand of this type of salt is offered by KAL). I hope that some day you will not need to depend on some drug manufacturer's pill to do what nature can, until that happens I hope you will continue to follow you doctor's advice. Also, I am curious if drinking KT has helped you. I really think it should. Remember, drink KT, lots of water, our bodies need the hydration water provides, and get some exercise. huehue > Dear MArge, > I really am so sorry to hear that.
