Guest guest
, I read every word, you have so many good and wonderful things to say, you obviously care about people, so I am wondering why you would let a few grins or smiles or a little extra sharing or caring put you off on being a part of this list? I know you have a life, heck we all do, but the little extra personality surely can't hurt. I like to think of it as the joy of people being happy and they are happy because KT is helping them each in their own way. Many come to the list investigating what little they have heard about Kombucha and many have the feeling that if it sounds too good to be true it probably isn't. So it's up to us to not only let them know that yes it does help, but show them it does. Nobody would think anything good if we all sounded like a bunch of crabby, miserable, down-in-the-mouth, androids. All I can add is to reiterate, Sorry to see you go. And I mean that right from the bottom of my heart. Sincerely,Sprite
Guest guest
Sprite, It's not the fact that I don't appreciate your interactions within your group. I can understand that many will get comfort from it. It's all a question of TIME and how you allocate it. Just imagine there were 5 or 6 subjects you care passionately about, and every group you contacted, started to send you 20 emails of what amounts to informal chat room talk EVERY DAY. You would soon dread opening the inbox. It is my opinion that the place for such discussions is in a Chat Room, which can be accessed BY CHOICE, and is not clogging up MY intray. You give me no choice but to ask you not to allow your contacts to impose their conversations on a Third Party [me], and I cannot help saying that I think there is a trace of arrogance in assuming I want to eavesdrop on your private thoughts to eachother. If my K fails to brew after 11 days, there is your website referred to, and many books to put me right. I don't see the point of telling all and sundry about my problems, unless it is a real nugget which I have found and can really help others. I say this in good fellowship, and with no intention of offending. Sincerely,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,. Guest guest
, One more comment and I promise not to be bothersome, unless of course you want me to be:) Just kidding Seriously I understand. You are more passionate as to the whole picture, take the world and give it a spin. Whereas my passion is more focused on one individual at a time. One on one if you will. I truly believe that the only stupid question is the unasked one. And more often than not, the answer regardless of how simple, serves the confidence rather than the actual question. As I just read on a page about alternative cancer treatments, it said to be sure that your information is up to date, that what was written may have since been found to be different, or certain aspects of it. So it is with K, it instills confidence to hear or read that it still applies or in some cases not. So I consider every question as very important even if only to the questioner. As for the chat, being that I consider myself to be one of the worse offenders, I cannot/will not condemn myself. I have explained it in the past and won't put all the others through that again. So I have to leave it at that. I must say that I have enjoyed this tete-a-tete and find you to be very interesting. Thank you again. That's why I mostly lurk on this list. I've been on this list since the days when Colleen was around, but I mostly keep quiet because I have time constraints(2 1/2 year old twin girls, mostly) and I just don't have a whole lot to say that's germane to the subject. I still make my batch every week, I make it the same way I've made it for years(three green, two black, a rounded cup of sugar), I've tried it other ways but this is the way that works for me. It's something I do that's part of my life and I talk about it if somebody asks me about it, but I'm not real evangelical about it. I leave that to other people. But I'm still here because there's useful information sometimes, I keep what I need and delete the chitchat, same as I do on other lists. What I do is an option too, for me just checking the website is more time consuming than just deleting what isn't important to me as it comes in. Maybe it would be different if I had a cable modem.
