Guest guest
I generally do my yoga and meditation first thing in the morning- around 5:30 for about a half hour. I primarily do my BFL style workouts later on in the day when I need an energy boost- like after work around 4. Supposedly yoga is best done in the morning...thats what all those " gurus " say anyways... > For the next two months I will have completely free days and I want > to implement yoga and meditation into my BFL training program. Guest guest
Yoga in the morning is a great way to start your day. I've found, though, that I actually split my yoga/meditation routines. My strength training and flexibility yoga, which is rather challenging, I like for a morning work out. In the evening I try to take at least 15-20 minutes for a good stretch and that's a good time to bring in meditation and breathing exercise. It just works all the kinks out and helps to slow your brain down, which makes for better sleep. Note though, falling asleep on the yoga mat is not the most comfortable of sleeping places. Just thought I'd mention it. Good luck, ~Jena > > For the next two months I will have completely free days and I want > > to implement yoga and meditation into my BFL training program. Guest guest
Hi jena, I'll keep this in mind. I'm trying to plan my day so that every 2-3 hours I'm doing something physical or that promotions relaxation. Trying to retrain the body and mind to take on new habits takes a lot of work. But at the same time I don't want to over do it. I need to know if it is always best to have breakfast before the early morning workouts or an hour or so after? thanks > > > For the next two months I will have completely free days and I want > > > to implement yoga and meditation into my BFL training program.
