World Permaculture Expert to visit SouthWoods in June.

Geoff Lawton, of the Permaculture Research Institute, Australia

is coming to Minnesota for a week to work with Dakota County, Carlton

College and will be visiting SouthWoods, our place in Prior Lake, for a

workshop and demonstration of Permaculture Principles.

I am a founding member of the Twin Cities Permaculture Collaborative

http://permaculturecollaborative.us/ and have been learning all

about sustainable living and permaculture principles from our three

brilliant and certified designers. It is a great organization.

Ginny and I hope to implement self-sustaining plant guilds here that

will supply an abundant supply of fruit and vegetables for years to

come.

It is a radical departure from traditional farming/gardening and takes

a bit of mindset adjustment, but the principles are sound and the

results amazing. No fertilizers or herbi/pesticides, totally organic

from day one, and layer upon layer of benefits.
