Going off Spiro before surgery

I've had Conn's for several years. I'm having surgery Monday to remove my left

adrenal. My GP put me on spiro a month and a half ago, and altho I fought it, it

has changed my life (for the better). My question is- Do I need to go off spiro

before Monday's procedure? I can't get a hold of my surgeon to find out. Thank

you~
