i would classify this as a concentration problem. We should put a link to the Mini Mental status exam as a way to quantitate memory with symptoms of brain fog. An psychologist in our group?Tiped sad Send form miiPhone ;-)May your pressure be low!CE Grim MDSpecializing in DifficultHypertensionOn Oct 2, 2009, at 8:30 AM, Chantal <chantalrobichaud29@...> wrote:

I hear you. Suppose to be "taking a shower" but I'm hooked.

It is reassuring to read that I am not going mad/hopefully not dying soon :) but other people have these wacky symptoms as well.

Dr told me yesterday the only symptom I will have is hypokalemia and we'll treat the blood pressure. He did acknowlegde that I will continue to feel "miserable".

Hello, even when my potassium does improve I'm still "feeling off". Anyhow, I'm hoping to log some extra time this week-end to complete the critical stuff.

"Brain fog" big time as in, I graduated with first place in pharmacology (pharmacist) but I really had to sit down, draw myself diagrams (when reading the article, asked hubby to watch the kids) to understand the evolution of hyperaldosteronism. Real, real scary that my memory and brain is being affected! Huge calendar on fridge to keep all the app. straight!

Sorry the Lightness was a typo. The terms seem to be common terms that those with Conn's use. I know they aren't terms that a doctor always understands. I have been asked mant times to describe what I feel. Something I can't realy do.

The one problem with the poll is you can only ask one question. depending on what input is given other polls can be used.

I have seen the term brain fog used a lot and after seeing it used I can under stand what it means. I have refered to my self is being lightheaded. Now I think brain fog fits better.

Since I don't drink or smoke including the special

cigarettes. I cant say what the felling is like when drunk. I have seen others say there brain fog is somewhat the felling they get when drunk.

With me the fellings never goes away there are times it is better then others. So far I don't know what makes it better or worse.

All the questions you ask should answered. Just don't know how to put some of them in the polls
