Guest guest
Several people e-mailed me about natural cures or prevention of diabetes, pre-diabetes or the dreaded Syndrome X which includes diabetes and more. I'll answer briefly but all this is in our FILES and DATABASE on the homepage, the reading of which could save us all lots of time and sore typing fingers! ly I think Type II diabetes is EASY to prevent, plus the majority of people can get off insulin with very little work at all. For starters, and quickly, I'd first read Tom Cowan's book. There is a TON of information in that book to stabilize blood sugar and prevent the dreaded Syndrome X and diabetes. You can also find amazing insights on these conditions in the book 21 DAYS TO A HEALTHY HEART. If you or someone you know is one of the 25% of America getting diabetes, you owe it to your self to stop what you are doing and buy some books! There is a goldmine of information on the web. Start with westonapricefoundation.org and go through the archives. Some people also said " What's Kombuchu " . (Ithose would be the people who don't read the FILES and DATABASE!!) Kombuchu is a brewed tea that includes a " mushroom " or culture like sourdough or buttermilk. The tea ferments at room temperature in about 5-7 days and makes a delicious beverage. You make black or green tea, add a smidgen of sugar and the culture and cover it. It's very anti-cancer. This drink was invented in several Asian communities. Half the people in this group have a starter culture that they will give you for asking. They are always available at the food swaps. I thought it was a new thing here but my mother recently reminded me that was making back in the 1950's when I was a kid. She treated herself for early cancer using it.
