Guest guest
ADVERTISEMENT I did my lower body exercises exactly as described on the bfl website, except for the leg curls. The hamstring curl machine is directly facing the free weight section that was filled with men and I was too embarassed to turn all of this butt in their direction. I know I won't feel comfortable for awhile, so is there another exercise I can do for my hamstrings? Also, my boobs are too big too use the ab machine unless I'm doing something wrong. All the trainers at the ymca who walk around to answer questions are all men so I felt uncomfortable asking them and demonstrating how my breasts got in the way when using the machine. I may just have to stick to crunches if they are too large. What can I do after my chest exercises when the muscles start to pull in my chest. Is there a stretch for this? Every muscle I worked yesterday and today pulled. OUCH!!!! The rest I could work through but when my chest muscles started to pull it traveled up to my shoulder and down my upper arm. It really really hurt. Thanks again, Crimson
Guest guest
Hi Crimson, For hamstrings you can do lunges. You can also do deadlifts (but you have to bend over and your butt will be sticking out :-) Lunges work really well at scupting your uppper leg. For abs those huge balls work well. YOu could even buy one at Target, Wal-mart or wherever, if you gym doesn't have them. They isolate your abs well and you could have a trainer help you because you won't even have to mention your breasts since they won't be in the way :-) If you are feeling pain (not soreness) perhaps you are lifting too much weight. For chest you have to be careful because you begin to lift too heavy you begin to use more of your shoulders and biceps. Remember you have a goal in mind. Do not let insecurity keep you from being the best that you can be. Approach a trainer and have them watch you do a couple of reps of your chest exercises. They can tell you if you are doing them correctly. You don't want to end up injured later. Or if you see a woman that looks like she knows what she is doing, ask her. Congrats for pushing yourself. Guest guest
Hi Deutschechoco, thank you for the answers. I tried the lunges and my knees were too weak. But I've never heard of deadlifts. I'll have to find out how to do those and give them a try. I have noticed 2 of the large balls you mentioned in the gym and I will ask one of the trainers to walk me through ab work using them. I'm really so re but can't wait to try out all the above tomorrow. > > > > > > ADVERTISEMENT > > > > > > I did my lower body exercises exactly as described on the bfl > > website, except for the leg curls.
