Guest guest
Thank you much! I did a test run yesterday to see how bad my cardio vascular health actually is. I was pleasantly surprised at how well I did. I didn't run the whole time, but I managed to get 3 miles done in 38 minutes. It's not great, but it's a good start! > >> > Well, today, I signed up for the Detroit Half Marathon on October > >> > 23rd. I just realized how close that is! It's in 4 months and 1 > >> > week! Guest guest
It's 3 miles more than you did yesterday right? You're on the road, just keep building on that. I'm jealous, I see the knee Doc today to determine if we cut or not. On 6/15/05 5:58 AM, " shadoweloc " <shadoweloc@...> wrote: > Thank you much! Guest guest
I've decided it's time to get up off my butt and feel good again! To that end, I'm going to be walking the Cincinnati half marathon in May! It will be a far cry from the whole marathon I ran four years ago before the PA, but I can't keep sitting here wasting away. I may need help figuring out what the balance is between exertion and salt necessary not to drop dead. I'll keep you all posted on my success/failure. Guest guest
Hi , I wish you the best for the marathon! Are you a resident of Cincinnati? If so, do you mind me asking what doctor treats you? I live on the west side of Cincinnati and am currently being tested for hyperaldosteronism. My doctor has no experience with the disease, but was familiar with it. Thanks! Guest guest
Yes, Lexington would be fine, if they are covered by our insurance - it is only a couple of hours away. If you could provide me with that name, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Diane half marathon > > I've decided it's time to get up off my butt and feel good again! Guest guest
Hi Diane, I'm actually from close to Toledo, OH. From what I hear the Cinci run is so much better than ours. > > Hi , > > > > I wish you the best for the marathon! Are you a resident of Cincinnati?
