Guest guest
I saw something interesting at the Midtown Global Market today. There's a shop selling goods from the White Earth Indian Reservation, including dry mixes and other foodstuff. They have a Native Food Pyramid developed by an organization that is dedicated to combating diabetes among Native people. Much of what is recommended agrees with the WAPF guidelines, including raw dairy, use of fats such as lard, and sweeteners such as maple syrup. I went to the website named below for more info when I got home but the site is still under construction. Regardless, I plan to buy one of these charts for educational purposes and have it available at swaps. It might be useful for connecting and networking later on with people who follow the Native Nutrition diet. ~Joe
