Guest guest
>> Breakfast: Oatmeal w/Fat Free Milk and Sugar Twin Brown Sugar > 2 hard boiled egg whites Usually a portion of protein is much more than 2 hard boiled egg whites. For me, I use 4 egg whites and 1 whole egg. Also how much oatmeal and milk? Usually women aim for 20-25 grams of protein (if it is something you can't " palm measure " ). > > Meal #4: Sliced turkey breast or roast beef > Musk Melon Again, double check that you are getting enough protein > > Dinner: Chicken Breast > Baked Potatoe w/ either butter spray and Fat Free > sour cream or just topped w/salsa > If no salsa, a portion of steamed veggies YUMMMY dinner > > I usually don't get a 6th meal in because I go to bed so early. I think it is better to eat six meals even if you have to eat right before bed time. You may not be getting enough calories with just the 5 meals. Plus the body needs fuel while you are sleeping also. Your food choices are excellent choices. The only thing I'd do is double check your portion sizes. Guest guest
This sounds a lot like the meals I had today. Except I had blueberries in place of the melon. > I just want to thank you for your responses. It is nice to know that > not everyone can work out in the morning. Guest guest
In Eating for Life Q & A, there is this exchange-- Q: Do you think you should stop eating 2 hours before bed? -- A: I too have heard that myth. But, I have 6 percent bodyfat and I eat before bed. So I don't think it makes all that much difference when you stop eating each day. How much you eat matters a lot. And how often. And the quality of what you eat. It's confusing because on the EAS page it says don't eat before bed. I guess they have different opinions on stuff. I eat my last meal before bed. It helps me sleep and gives me energy for my morning workouts. Guest guest
Noooooo!!!!! Sorry! That is Bill giving the answer, not me!! I don't think 6 is even a healthy number for a woman. I always heard no lower than 15 or you get health problems!
