Hi Allie,

I'm new to this and I hope I don't steer you wrong [but if I do I

hope someone will correct me]. Did you know that the BFL list of

authorized foods is on the web? There are many protein choices

there, so that list might give you some ideas.

I am slightly lactose intolerant, and sensitive to sodium, so I

don't eat cottage cheese unless I'm desperate. Also I don't eat any

meat at all, but here are some things I eat in case it helps you:

egg whites, soy sausage and fruit

oatmeal and protein powder

tuna [steak] or shrimp with sweet potato

tuna [pouch], lettuce, with fruit

If none of this appeals to you, you can always keep the cottage

cheese and try Beano or Lactaid!

OOOOHHHH YEAH! I used to be a vegetarian, where has my head been! Tofu.... I'm

gonna

look for some meat substitutes next time I'm in the grocery store. Thanks!
