Guest guest
NO FOOLIN'! 1) Try to bring someone you know, I'm hoping everyone can bring at least one friend or relative who is new to all this. They can experience first-hand what we are up to. They'll get to sample the potluck, the tastings, and shop for goodies. Have them bring money. 2) Bring your FAMILY, spouses, kids and grandparents! 3) CAMERA and BINOCULARS. This is a specacular building in addition to being one of the premier bird-watching sites in the TC area. Since it's right on the river, you will see eagles, hawks and maybe even owls. The pretty little spring birds are also back! 4) MONEY. Seriously, do your grocery shopping at the swap. Also bring bags and boxes to haul all the swag home. It's huge work for the farmers and vendors to lug everything to the event so I'm hoping we can send them all home with a fat wallet and empty truck! 5) POT LUCK food item. I'm bringing some fresh Mom's milk and dairy, but try your hand at a food dish, condiment or just bread, butter our main dish! It's OK to just bring napkins, plates, or utensils. Beverages are a good option too. A chance to SHOW OFF! On the other hand, if timing prevents you making a dish, COME ANYWAY, there will be plenty of food, and plenty of good cheer! SUPER EASY TO FIND.... Go north on I-94 from downtown Mpls. to the 49th-53rd exit, and you can actually see the building right on the river at the exit. Park in the lot, you will see us to the left when you walk in the door. SEE YA THERE! WILL
