Aidan Maxwell sent me this mail and I felt that some other members would also

care to assist.

<Some aquaintances of a friend of mine are planning in the near future to

complete a two man row from Japan to San Francisco in a specially built

canoe. I t will take them about three months, rowing one hour on, one hour

off and, when completed, will be a first ever.

They are very experienced and accomplished men (obviously) but I am trying to

find out some physiological info on this sort of extreme enviroment and

wondered if any of you could point me in the right direction.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.>
