Guest guest
Ruth, I highly doubt that but if you are really worried that they might cause this side effect then don't use myoplex. better yet don't use any supplements, you don't need to, whole food works just fine. Guest guest
Thanks ! I didn't think so, and I hadn't had any problems thus far. I try to do whole food as often as possible...luckily I LOVE the myoplex-lite shakes...they're almost treat-ish to me! I know, I'm a freak! Thanks though! Take care, Ruth > Ruth, I highly doubt that but if you are really worried that they > might cause this side effect then don't use myoplex. better yet don't > use any supplements, you don't need to, whole food works just fine. >
Guest guest
Ok, those are some weird rumors. :-) I suppose it's possible, but I've never heard anybody complain about bloating with Myoplex. The cellulite thing is fairly silly. How is getting fit going to make you look worse? If you build new muscle (say, in your thighs) it tends to pull the flab tighter and smoother instead of it just hanging there being... flabby. Now there is a BFLism about fat getting a little more lumpy and bumpy looking as it flees your body. Like an area that goes from being really firmly pudgy to suddenly leaner might seem to sag and dimple a little at first. That's usually a temporary phenomenon and a good sign that stuff is happening. Disturbing Rumors! Howdy Folks... I'm in my first challenge on day 11 and it is going GREAT! I am always trying to read all the BFL info I can. I just happened upon a couple of wierd things and I wanted to know if they are true in your experience... I heard someone say that the myoplex shakes can bloat you and as you become more muscular your cellulite will look worse!!!!! I know these can't be 100% true...In the big picture these are silly details, but I'm just curious. Thanks everyone, have a lovely evening! -Ruth
Guest guest
Hi , Thanks so much for the input, I figured it was untrue, but it was gnawing at me so I figured I'd ask. I am feeling so good though! Thanks again! -Ruth > Ok, those are some weird rumors. :-) I suppose it's possible, but I've never heard anybody complain about bloating with Myoplex. Guest guest
You're not a freak. Or at least, if you are, then I must be, too! I really like Myoplex Lite CHOCOLATE shakes... Preferably with warm/room temperature water, and 12 oz. of it, at that. I usually make mine out in the parking lot at school/work then pour it into the empty water bottle. I like doing it that way because it's so thick & slow coming out of a cup... but with the water bottle I can squeeze the bottle & help it along! Re: Disturbing Rumors! Thanks ! Guest guest
If it makes you feel any better, I love my Myoplex Lite Chocolate shakes, and after having lost 45 lbs on BFL, I still drink them. My cellulite is much less than before I started BFL....there's no credence to the rumor. Guest guest
Me too. I've been using some form of Myoplex(lite, regular, or deluxe) for three years and never could have had the results I've had without them. I simply wouldn't have gotten in all the protein. Post workout they are essential. Being on the run a lot it is so easy to mix it and take it in the car and guzzle while driving. I don't see how there could be any bloat since they aren't that high in sodium. Put your fears to rest and enjoy. Guest guest
I agree it is a great way to get the protein you need! And I think Myoplex makes me feel full more than just using plain protein Beth Bastion Enhancing Lives! Some Dream of Success... While Others Do It!!
