Guest guest
Hi I forgot to mention that I can't have any veggies from the night shade family either. That is a bug bummer for me as it means no peppers, eggplants, tomatoes etc. Also, no starches like butternut squash or any kinds of cheeses. Definitely limited and not much variety to my diet. I can have coconut oil but Dr Ron said he didn't think that I needed it - not sure what that means. So, I usually have a spoonful in my kefir each day. I am also taking all the organ supps. and 2 TBS of cod liver oil a day. One thing I try to always have in my fridge is some sort of cooked ground meat like hamburger or lamb which I add sauteed zucchini and garlic. This is easy to eat cold or hot. Since I have a toddler and am always off to the park or something I try and think of foods that are good cold. Not so easy when you're only eating meat or cooked veggies. I also eat a lot of steak - poultry doesn't sit very well with me. So I usually make an extra steak and put that in the fridge for the next day. I wish I had more recipes to share but it seems like I just eat some sort of meat and then a steamed veggie with butter over and over and over again. Because I can't have peppers or tomatoes it seems like my veggie options are pretty boring. I am starting to make my life sound miserable which it is not! My goal is to always stay grain and sugar free but I would like and hope that I can eventually add legumes, night shades and cheese back to my diet. h
