Guest guest
Annie - I have the same problem. I do use the EFL book, but usually those recipes are for 4 and my 3 kids each eat pretty much as much as I do. Which makes the recipes, which already cost a little more than I normally spend per meal, really expensive. I don't have an answer, but I have been searching. If I come up with one, I'll share. Please, if you figure it out share, too Family Meal Ideas? I'm getting stuck in a rut! I have a husband and 3-school aged kids to feed, too--what are some of your favorite, standard family BFL-friendly meals? Thanks! There are many in there that are good for the whole family. Taco Pasta Salad and Asian beef stir fry are a couple of my favorites.

Turkey meatloaf, mashed potatoes and green beans Italian turkey burgers (BIG HIT!) Beef Stew (can't remember the exact name) Beef Soup (can't remember the exact name) Also a standby we have weekly is chicken and brown rice. I buy the pre-seasoned chicken breasts at Costco. Use the teriyaki chicken add brown rice, 1 can of chicken broth and 1 package of some kind of seasoning. Colleen

Is there another source of protein that I missed? Colleen
