Guest guest
I have a similar problem so I adjust my meals a bit to get it all in. The problem I have is getting home from work and dinner prepared without a long break. 6:00 is my goal but often it's closer to 7:00 when we sit down, depends on the number of errands or traffic. If we eat at 7:00, I have my last meal at 9:00. I eat at 7, 9:30, 12, 3, 6, 8:30 6 times per day - timing Ok, here's a question about meal timing. I've been trying to do 7, 10, 1, 4, 7 and 10. But what I've read says to not eat a few hours before you go to bed. Well...after my 10:00...I pretty much go to bed. What adjustments should I make or does it not really matter? Thanks! I know there are technical reasons why it can be good for you, but I can't recall them at this time. I am eating my nighttime meal of egg whites and oat meal before I go to bed, and just too tired to think clearly.

Is there really a difference if you have solid food or liquid nutrition in how the body processes it? I've read that liquid nutrition before going to bed is easier for the body to process. I don't eat too many shakes and even when I do I just use protein powder and add fruit. My favorite before bed meal is cottage cheese and oatmeal mixed together with splenda. It's really good and I am able tok get up in the morning and work out on an empty stomach.
Guest guest
Hmmm... That brings a thought to me.... I wonder if it's beneficial to eat late so we have the energy needed to early morning workouts. I never put the two and two together before but makes sense to me.
