Guest guest
Not sure if anyone else does this... With the recent decision to minimize or eliminate microwave use, I was faced with a problem at work. Do I limit all future lunches to cold items or is there a way to heat up food at work? I've also decided to not drink coffee daily anymore... not necessarily giving it up forever, just don't like the headaches if I happen to miss a day. I'm the only one at work that uses the coffee pot, so as I contemplated whether to give in and heat the chili in the micro or pass on lunch, a light bulb went off. I scooped some chili into the coffee pot and flipped the switch. It worked great! It worked just like a slow cooker. My cooworkers think I'm totally nuts, but that's OK. It opened the door to discuss these kind of things. Luke

But when the idea gets old, and the coffee pot is hard to wash, get a small hot plate and a small pot like corningware or similar that is easier to wash. There is a small Le Creuset combination pan that is a small pan and the lid is a small omelet pan that can be used in different ways. I love mine. Washes great also.
