Guess your guy did not read my paper or the Endo Soc Guidelines so did not understand that ACTH is required for best interpretation. Have found another Endo in Salt Lake area who has experience in PA who I can advise as well in case this guy does not work out. May your pressure be low! Does the report identify what numbers go to which side? Does it identify anything with any words other than " plasma? It that is not enough try my combination of combinations in the difficult HTN file. What drugs have failed u so far? Did they fail becasue of no BP control or side effects. Clarence E. Some people cannot tolerate spiro. In men, it can cause breasts. In women, it can cause sore breasts and menstrual irregularities. In some, it can cause stomach problems. The only other aldosterone blocker is Inspra. It is newer (but not necessarily better) and more expensive. The better you can control sodium, the less med you will need to normalize your BP.
