When I gave blood recently they almost wouldn't allow it because my

iron was too low, borderline anemic I'm told.

I know lean red meats are good to help with iron...any other BFL

approved ideas to up my iron (I hate to take iron pills, they make me

nauseous.)

Pam -

I think Broccoli is an iron-rich food... And I remember when my kids were

babies that it helped to give them something citrus with their cereal

because the iron bound to the vitamin C to help it get absorbed. So

maybe... broccoli and and orange? Oh I don't know... Something high in iron

along with something high in Vitamin C... Maybe take a vitamin C supplement

when you eat your broccoli or other high iron food...

Just my thoughts...

At least you didn't say " Collard Greens " which apparently everyone

here in the south eats I've discovered since moving here (along with

fried chicken restaurants every block!) I like spinach :)
