Guest guest
Hey there - A great place to get meal replacement products like Myoplex or a variety of bars is www.vitaglo.com . It's a store, and shipping is free if you spend $50 (which is very easy to do). And the little letters and numbers stand for what challenge you're doing (C1 = Challenge 1), what week you're on (W1 = week 1) and what day of that week you're on (D1 = day 1). Like I'm on C2W4D2 = Challenge 2, week 4, day 2. Good luck! This group is a great source of information! in WI Vitamins and such..... > Hey all! Thanks for the info on the supplements. Guest guest
Hi, and yes you will get used to the lingo quickly! I take a complete vitamin, with a little extra calcium for the super mom/wife/woman energy I need! I purchase all of my supplements from vitaglo.com, which has free shipping with orders over $50, or I go to my local supplements store, a local guy who sells them down the street with great prices. As for the WDC stuff, that just means if someone puts C1W1D1 they are in their first challenge, week one, day one! Hope this helps, have a great day! Jana > Hey all! Guest guest
Multivitamin choice? WeightSmart by One-A-Day - it has green tea in it and all the basic vitamin requirements you need...find it at your local pharmacy or WalMart... Whey Protein powder? Its a taste test and you will get 50 different answers, but I like Natures Best Isopure LoCarb chocolate the best, and EAS's Simpley Whey in vanilla for everything else. Get some EFA's (essential fatty acids) which are good dietary fats that are hard to get in your daily foods (salmosn and flax has them) Look for just flaxseed oil (Barleans brand) or a blend of oils called 'UDO's'. These are not a must tho - a good variety of wholesome foods is the foundation remember :-) <<joni>> *a moment on the lips, a lifetime on the hips*
Guest guest
In addition to vitaglo.com, I use www.vitaminshoppe.com. I like the fact they keep track of how much you've spent there during the year and you receive a credit to use in their online store at the end of the year. We received a credit this year of $90. For every dollar you spend, you receive a point. Collect so many points and you receive a credit or gift certificate. Collect more points and your credit gets larger. Oh, and if you wait until December, they offer double points (where you get twice the points as dollars you've spent) and I usually really stock up on all my vitamins, supplements, etc. to boost my points. They send you a card in the mail towards the end of January of the following year with a code on it. You enter that next time you shop with them and it uses that credit towards your purchase. I buy stuff from other websites when they have really great deals, but still buy most of my stuff from vitaminshoppe.com. I have tried a few places that I would recommend staying away from because they ripped us off. www.A1nutrition.com had great prices (I mean the lowest I've seen) but we had to report them to the BBB because they never sent our entire order. We could never get customer service to call us back and it was ridiculous. About 4 months after we bought the stuff, we finally received a credit on our card for the stuff we never got. But I've never had a problem with either vitaglo or vitaminshoppe and I've bought from vitamshoppe for about the past 4 years. They occasionally will put their EAS products on sale (around 40% off) so I will buy large amounts of RTD shakes when they do. And their vitamins are priced really well too. I get all of my vitamin C, multivitamin, and glucosamine chondroitin there. M.
