Guest guest
Karla.......You can get a gallon pail here in town from (on here she is called seaside student)The coconut oil is from Wilderness Family Naturals and is really good. I buy my coconut oil from . There is also a group on here (perhaps one of them will reply) who do order wholesale from WFN sometimes. You can also order directly from Wilderness Family Naturals from their website, but it is cheaper ordering from or with the other group. ---Judy > > At one time I remember reading about someone getting pales of CO but > they had to drive into WI and get a certain amount etc. Any memories > of this anyone? >
Guest guest
Ann Marie orders from Wilderness Family Naturals on a regular basis. It was the same company that you mentioned in your post. If we order at least 6 gallons (I believe) of C.O. then we don't have to pay shipping. We just ordered this month and I think are ordering again relatively soon as they were waiting for a certain product to be back in stock. Ann Marie can give you the total scoop on it. It's a very good product. Krista Krista Boos Creative Memories Senior Consultant Memory Keeping at Its Best! Cocconut oil At one time I remember reading about someone getting pales of CO but they had to drive into WI and get a certain amount etc. Any memories of this anyone? I remember it was at a doable price for such a large amount! Was it good unrefined oil? Tasty? I didn't know then what I know now ('tis a journey ya know'). How would I get some? Is anyone going? Can I drum up some folks to need some and I make the run once I find out about it etc.? Firstly though------------------was it a good Trad. foods product? OK, thanks for your input! Guest guest
Yes we just did a wholesale order for coconut oil this month (in fact two people still need to pick up their stuff. If you are one of them, contact me). For a gallon of philippine processed, unrefined coconut oil the wholesale price is $42. I think retail is $54.95. And yes, if we order 6 gallons we get free shipping. (not usually a problem, this order included 12 gallons, a 5 gallon bucket and numerous half gallons and quarts). Check out www.wildernessfamilynaturals.com for more information. I am not sure when we will do an order again. It is true that a number of us are waiting for coconut milk and cream to come back in stock. If it happens soon we may be doing another order then. Otherwise I'm guessing 2-3 months. hth, Ann Marie > From: Krista Boos <babymonkeytoes@...> > Reply- > Date: Mon, 23 Jan 2006 08:32:37 -0600 > > Subject: RE: Cocconut oil > > Ann Marie orders from Wilderness Family Naturals on a regular basis. Guest guest
, A while back we all discussed which CO tasted and performed the best. I think the top 2 were WFN CO and Tropical Traditions. (Correct me if I'm wrong anyone). The Spectrum had a stronger not as agreeable taste and seemed to burn when cooked with. I think it gave the house a bad smell when cooking also. Guest guest
I like the Tropical Traditions organic virgin coconut oil. You can get buckets of it at Ecopolitan Restaurant (about 2 blocks south of the Wedge on Lyndale Ave). I've been buying the 32oz. jars for $19.95.
